Anybody had a doner kebap in germany it is a turkish food and is soo good i want to find them here in the usa?!
Answers: they are best with the feta on them they are similar to a gyro but so much better.

If you live in LA, there is a place in Eagle Rock on Colorado Blvd called Spitz, and it's logo is "home of the doner kebab"
I lived off of that stuff one summer in Slovenia, its pretty good, especially at midnight after a whole night of drinking :) If I could find one in Los Angeles/Southern California that would be awesome!

Donner is also a Greek. It is slabs of lamb cooked similar to Gyro on a spit. You can get it at an Authentic Greek restaurant in New York, I go to either Astoria, Queens (large Greek Community) or in Bayside, Queens.
