Availability of chinese food in supermarkets?!

Question: That would depend on where you live. If you live in an area with a high Asian population, then even chain stores will have more Asian related food. However, if you want chinese food, I recommend going to a chinese supermarket. I don't where you live, but in my area, common ones would be Marina, Ranch 99, and Lion Supermarket. These stores carry almost any Chinese/Asian foods, vegetables, fruits, and a bunch of other products. Japanese and Korean supermarkets are also becoming quite common, and offer a lot of the same produce (but most of the commonalities end there as they will have other products that are just Japanese or Korean), so you can check those places out too.

Hope that helped :D

depends where you live. In vancouver allmost every where

It depends on the supermarket and where it's located. Supermarkets located in areas with sizable Asian populations will have more Chinese ingredients, especially Chinese veggies, even if it's a national chain.

Normally, if I am wanting to make Chinese food, I will go to one of the Asian supermarkets. They have a broader range of ingredients than the typical grocery chains do in my area.

Try grocery stores in L.A.
The chinese food is endless my friend, endless.
