Is there a brand of NON-chunky salsa?!

Question: I love Mexican restaurant salsa because the consistency is thin, like ketchup. But when I buy salsa in the grocery store, it's all the chunky kind! I've tried putting it in a food processor, but that doesn't work. Does anyone know of a thin salsa brand out there?

Herdez is delish...one of my faves, as Im not big on the funky chunky kind like Pace - blech!

go to walmart they sell taco bell taco sauce and it is thin and not chunky. it comes in mild or hot.

I'm not sure! I don't think they make it! But you can look up recipes on the internet, make your own, or just blend up a brand from the store in your blender!

"El Pato" brand tomato sauce, Mexican hot style sauce (salsa), made with: tomato puree, water, Chile's, onions, garlic, salt & spices.
i use it straight from the can as a dip for tortilla chips, for added spicyness i add tobasco, it is a lot cheaper than all those other "chunky" salsas.
another trick is buy jalapenos in a can they come with carrots and onions in it. the brand i use is "herdez" what i do is i just throw it in the blender and make a very delicious smooth green salsa.
enjoy!-blurey

don't put it your food processor... put it your blender on puree... it will smooth it out... if it is too thick... blend in some tomatoe juice...

Rojos salsa is the best! It is thin and juicy you can get it spicy or not spicy.Santa Barbra and Chachies are way too chunky.I love thin Salsa.

I don't like chunky salsa either. Picante sauce is less chunky and pretty much the same thing.

old el paso
el pato ( salsa SAUCE)
mission
herdez
any of these carry some sort of base for salsa, other than that try your BLENDER on liquifiy and add some FRESH CILANTRO
OR JUST EXPERIMENT WITH FRESH INGREDIENTS !!
THATS YOUR BEST BET !!
