Why does chinese people not eat cheese?!
Answers: I heard that lactos is one factor, many chinese can not drink alcohol, i can eat cheese and i usually drink vodka at saturday night.
Cheese requires an abundance of dairy products, which China has never really had. So cheese is not part of their normal diet. And people tend to stick with what they know.

China has never had good grazing land which was not used for growing food, instead of raising cattle. Horses got priority for grazing lands, and arable lands are used mostly for crops humans eat, not for indirect foods like milk and meat.
Most East Asians have an aversion to dairy products. Milk is kind of weird to them like soy bean products are kind of weird for us. It is getting a little more popular in Japan for kids, but very few adults would think of drinking a glass of milk.
China ppl don't eat cheese because it is not traditional food, and it is very expensive. Besides, Cheese taste is too heavy for them, and it is not suitable to the chinese food ingredient.
Lactose intolernace is common in certain ethnic groups including Chinese.

I think its because they are probably bored of this kind of food. Its very nice but its quite fattening and perhaps they have found alternative foods to eat. Just because we are English does not mean we eat fish and chips and steak and kidney pie. But it is any interesting question.
it is not that they "can't" it is jus that many asian countries dont have much dairy in their cuisine. This is most likley because these are age old recipies from an area that does not rasie cows very often due to cultural and climate reasons. The alcohol part may be because thes people have smaller builds and are more susceptible to alcohol poisening.
That is certainly not true. I am at a university in the International dorm (where there is lots of drinking mind you) and all of the asians can out drink me and my boyfriend together! They also have NO gag reflex, so even when we gave them Popov (the WORST vodka) they drank it like water and threw it back! They also really enjoy a good beer, I heard it is very tasty in China. Even this girl who is 10 pounds could drink more than us, because they drink as little kids!
We were so surprised, because if I even SMELL it, i throw up!
Also, I see many of them eat cheese, but many also do not because they do not eat it back home, so they don't eat it here as it has never been part of their diet because it is uncommon to have dairy in their climate.

just to point out if you notice china don't even have a drinking age so i would expect alot of people to drink
