Halal refers to the way in which the meat is slaughtered, according to Islamic Sharia. The meat itself is no different, just the butcher and the butchering process.

halal is the most insignificant of the religious food restrictions
It is a copy of Jewish Law..
Remember islam and koran came late in 500 ad...
Back to the question..
The follower has some assurance the jugular Veins were cut and the animal saw his death as the fo- ls prayed..
it was the same as any animals that were slaughtered that day but say 4 imams or Rabi's got to be firsthand be a part of a brutal slaying (it takes several minuets) with blood being wasted
but the others died most instantly..

Halal meat is killed while reciting muslim prayers, it is slaughtered while also making sure that the animal feels the least amount of pain during the process.

The difference between halal and non-halal hamburger is that Halal is when the lamb or cow is killed by a muslim butcher with a knife by the neck.
Non-halal is when the lamb or cow is killed by a gun, like for instance someone when hunting and killed a lamb its not halal.
