what is squab?
It is similar to a quail or pigeon ...a small bird, dark meat...pretty tasty!
Baby pidgeon....a wonderful dish....but I try not to think about it.
It is young pigeon, before they get pin feathers. Special breeds for squab are White Kings and Swiss Modena. Very tasty but expensive to buy.
