For someone who has no experience with Thai cuisine - you could say that it is like Chinese, but with more noodles and spices. In general Thai cuisine is hotter than most other Asian cuisines. Thai food is very diverse as is Chinese, so view this as a very general description.

It's a mix between Indian & Chinese food. Similar to Malay or Indonesian cuisines. Thai food uses alot of coconut milk & peanuts (so beware if you have allergies). It's one of my favorites, go try it --- I am sure you will love it. It has a wide range of tastes, flavors & textures.

I lived in thailand close to vietmanese food but curry is not the only thing on menu drink a singhs beer with it !!!
