In what season should I be able to get plantains in Oregon?!

Question: since plantains dont grow domestically...its all a matter of demand....some places have them year round...others rarely--ask your fruit and veggie manager- they love to help!

summer time.... I bought some in Seattle last summer...the grocery doesn't stock them very well though... sometimes there are only 5-10 available... right next to the nanas
