All food can make your breath bad. It depends on many things like oral hygiene before and after eating, being nervous, and yes, condiments. The best thing to do is carry Altoids with you always.

yeah spicy food can make your breath really reek

Cinnamon is hot (gum) and it doesn't make your breath bad. I think if there's onions and garlic with it, THEN it's bad on the breath.

just chew some gum afterwards!!!

Most spicy foods have garlic & that would make your breath smell pretty bad!

basically it's garlic + strong odorous things that do it , if you were to eat say a jalapeno it would not do that

nope. as an indian i know all about spicy food.. enough to know that most spicy fd is made from chillie.. red chillie.. they do not worsen your breath.. instead.. they prevent bad breath.. they dont give a minty smell but remove lousy smells..
also.. a study showed that indians have the least number of alzaimers casses cos they take lots and lots of chillies
