What dish are you eating that has this white sauce on it?

The only thing I can think of would be Okonomiyaki, a sort of cabbage pancake, with meat or other stuff on or in it. It is often topped with both Okonomiyaki sauce (a sort of Japanese BBQ sauce) and Japanese mayonaise (which is white.)

Japanese mayonaise tastes a little different than the stuff you normally find in American grocery stores. You can sometimes find it in the store's "Ethnic" area, or if you have a Japanese or Asian supermarket near you, they'll carry it for sure.

Try Japanese mayo in your tuna salad. Yum!

Ive seen "white sauce" in many different colors.... it all taste the same tho.
