I have eaten at the Newport Beach, CA location and the food is well worth every penny. Lots of fresh seafood with exotic ingredients & Pacific Rim flavors all with a Hawaiian touch. I am very impressed with Chef Roy Yamaguchi. Try the Hawaiian fishes such as opakapaka (pink snapper) or the miso butterfish, it's SUPERB! Modern ambiance, excellent service... the whole Roy's experience is always enjoyable.

i've eaten at roy's (in las vegas) a couple of times and i've found the whole experience to be well worth it. the food, the presentation, the service, the ambience were all excellent. it is a bit pricey but more often than not you get what you pay for in restaurants. i don't think you'll be disappointed.

Delicious. Been to his restruaunts several times in Hawaii they're great. Try it. It's a cuisine you'll like.
