Why do we sweat when we SPICEY food?!

Question: when we SPICEY food?

Answers: when we SPICEY food?

because spicy foods make your body feel hot so you sweat to cool off

i don't sweat when i eat spicy foods, i have a pretty high tolerence for spicy stuff. i ate it all through my pregnancy but my baby is now suffering from heart burn. and what i ate my child ate also while pregnant.

Because your body's temp rises with hot foods, therefor you sweat

I agree with the others - the stuff is hot, so we sweat when we eat it. Some of that extra hot Thai food I enjoy can really get it going.

Here's a good way to cool off your mouth and tongue after eating it. Eat a slice of plain bread. It works much better than drinking a glass of water.

Most hot food is oily. Since water and oil don't mix, the water doesn't help much. Bread absorbs the oil - the longer you keep it in your mouth before swallowing, the better.
