BRITISH: do you eat BEANS at breakfast?!

Question: Is this really true?
Many people already told me that and i don't believe.
Is this in all UK or just in some regions?

That is a stereotype, because of the famous 'Full english' fried breakfast, me and most other people have a normal breakfast of cerial (or toast, bagels whatever tickles your fancy) and tea/juice/coffee. Some workers, like builders are known to eat sausage sandwiches, or bacon sandwiches and are famous for eating a 'Full English' in a greasy spoon cafe.

Well some places sell them in Ireland for breakfast aswell but they wouldn't be too common

the english do
we scots do not

beans and toast

No, not necessarily, but if you eat a traditional British breakfast at a cafe or something you will usually find that it contains baked beans.

No...beans are included with a full English breakfast, but not many of us do eat beans at breakfast. And honestly, I wouldn't eat beans at breakfast because I don't really want to fart loads - lol that would be embarassing. I'm British and I almost always eat cereal for breakfast.

i dont like beans, but if you ordered a full english at a cafe for breakfast, there would be beans.

I'm Canadian I eat beans for breakfast
Beck on Leno eats beans for breakfast
Its an English thing

and beans on toast for tea

OK, so I'm not a Brit but lots of countries have beans at breakfast. They're a high protein, filling, nutritious, cheap, and easy to prepare overnight. Personally beans don't seem to bother my gastric system so I'm happy to eat them at breakfast.

Folks in New England (i.e., New Hampshire, Maine & perhaps other spots) eat baked beans for breakfast.

I have been known to do so ... in Alaska. Very warming and homey. Especially when made from scratch.

I live in the US, Texas in fact and we eat whatever is left over or whatever we can catch for breakfast. I like my beans with cornbread and buttermilk!

I am British and I love my beans at breakfast. However, beans are only included with a full English.

some do + some don't , me personally -i will eat a pound of shrimp for breakfast when i feel like or maybe leftover baby back ribs . egg rolls are good too . i don't care what time of day it is , if i like it i'm gonna eat it

sure, don't people who live in the South of the US do th e same? of course they do so what is the problem
