AHHHHHH JAPAN!!! all the goodies are there!!

if you have a sweet tooth i really recommend buying home kitkats!!!!!! they really have a wide variety of interesting flavours! like sakura kitkat, green tea kitkat, white chocolate kitkat, strawberry kitkat, caramel pudding kitkat. and they taste suprisingly gooodddd! you can get these at their local 7 eleven stalls thats almost anywhere (can be found near train stations).

as for japanese delights i would recommend their mochis!
they have stores that specially sells mochis (japanese rice cakes) or Wagashi(japanese traditional sweets).

if youre lookin for savoury stuff u can look at their Senbei which is a rice cracker that comes in a packet (u can find easily at their supermarkets). Some of the Senbei comes with seaweed while some with cheese!!! they are usually conviniently packed in little packets. so its easy for u to bring these savoury treats with you around (:

Fugu of course!

balm kuchen!
melon pan
an pan (red bean paste pastry)

Endangered whale meat maybe?

Bring back some PRETZ (these are savory pocky flavors!). I like tomato, pizza, corn, butter, cacao....

Also YOKU MOKU, these are delicious wafer thin butter cookies. They come in a variety of flavors & melt in your mouth.

You should go visit a large Japanese dept store like Isetan, Daimaru or Takashimaya..... usually the basement level is an amazing food lover's paradise! It is station after station of Japanese chefs preparing anything & everything you could imagine. You can watch these masters and sample their creations. It's fun & free! You can literally spend hours here, if you taste something you like ---- you can buy.

PS: If you have kids or know any, Miki House is a Japanese clothing brand that makes really cute clothes. Also Japanese toys are really cool & modern. Just some gift ideas.

Anyway, enjoy the trip!

Ha ha ha. Go to the Togata Jinja in Komaki (near Nagoya). It is the shrine for people seeking mates and for couples hoping to conceive. The symbol is the penis. It is a very serious shrine, but the Japanese are a very civilized people who know that not all people share culture. To the right is the shrine and to the left is the gift shop and the pictures of foreign women stroking the many carvings and statues of large penises. And in the gift shop is a wide variety of penis candy. Get the chocolate ones. You can ask your girlfriends, "Want some candy to suck on?" It's really funny. I brought back several boxes and my female friend had a riot.
