I'm assuming you didn't actually want to learn the types of sushi that exist, but what tastes best!

Try Unagi/Eel. It is my favourite. It supposedly makes you strong and Verile.

Sushi Tempura is interesting fried Sushi, but it's greasy and kind of defeats the purpose of healthy sushi.

I like Roe/fish eggs because they pop in your mouth. :-)

And if you like California rolls, ask for SPICY California rolls next time with a special Japanese orange sauce!

Some things LIKE California rolls are: Mountain rolls, Spider Rolls, Rainbow rolls and Philadelphia rolls.

I also suggest you try a better soy sauce for a great surprise!

Try Pearl River Bridge Dark Mushroom Soy Sauce. It's thick and not as salty, but FULL of flavour! You're sure to love it.

And when you get around to it, go to a shop that sells frozen sushi ingredients and make your own! You're sure to get better portions and get exactly what you want! (Not to mention at 10% of the price!)

Good luck and have fun!

Spider Rolls (Fried Soft Shell Crab), Philedalhpia roll (Cream cheese, samon, cucumber,), rainbow roll (Califnornia roll only with different types of fish on top), and mountain roll (Spicy Tuna with Crab on top.)

I usually get salmon sushi or sashimi. The dragon roll is a must have, sometimes it's not always on the menu and you have to ask for it. But it has YUMMY avacado :D

sorry I can't advise you..

I did not see California Rolls >>>!!!
but there are many web sites

There are three types of "Sushi....

Sashimi - which is all fish slices with rice on the side.

Sushi - which is individual pieces of seafood with a
rectangular lump of rice underneath.

Maki-Sushi - which a rolls with seafood in the middle, surrounded by rice and wrapped in green seaweed, kelp.

Try Teka-Maki Tuna in a roll.
Unagi - eel individual pieces.
Samon - individual pieces.
Yellowtail - individual pieces and fantastic good taste cold.
flying fish roe - roll with flying fish eggs in one end.

I buy my sushi from super target. I like eel roll. But the prices are getting to high, I had to cut back.
