Question: A student brought this in from Jerusalem. It was the size of a pecan. It was green and had fuzz on it. He says it is a kind of nut. You eat it whole and it tasted like a crabapple.

If you eat it whole, it prolly wasn't an almond.

Almonds have a firm, tart fruit like part around the nut. But the nut is in there!
