I am looking for a delicious vegetable Lo Mein recipe. Lo Mein is so expensive at the Chinese restaurants.?!

Question: I would like a recipe without spiceness, that tastes like the normal Chinese "takeout" kind. I can't do anything "cajun" or "hot" because of my stomach. My favorite kind has baby corn, crispy potatoes, and a lot of other really delicious vegetables--I'm not sure of all of them. I think zuccini maybe? Anyway, any recipe would be well appreciated!

You will want to buy egg noodles from a chinese store (the noodles are different then egg noodles in an american store). They usually come in a pack of 6 square servings of the noodle.

I usually use about 2 for just myself. Heat some water to boiling and then add noodles and cook until done. Drain and set in a bowl and mix with 1tbl of sesame oil. Set aside.

In a wok heated with 2 tbl of oil fry whatever vegetables you want to eat in your lo mein (I usually fry carrots, zuchini, and napa cabbage), you can add 1 tbl (and only that) of soya sauce if you like (I don't add anything, this is simply to cook the vegetables). Once they are almost finished (cook only enough to make sure the vegetables are still crispy but also done) add 4tbl of oyster sauce, 2 tbl of soya sauce, and 4 tbl of water and stir. Now add the noodles you set aside and mix together and let fry for a few moments.

Finished.
