Answers:
Katie H is right, I am a former chef from Canada and worked for a resort in Montego Bay Jamaica, and there growing season is pretty well all year round, there are some products that are available at certain times of the year, like sorrel, Ugli fruit and pimento berries or better known as allspice, these are some that grown and are a once a year harvest or 2 times!.

Fresh veg are all year round and there are some imported items not much, but the cuisine is built around the available foods in the areas, meat is all available from the producers at all times, fish is a seasonal thing at times due to the running of the particular fish species, but in general your not going to find any shortages unless there is a hurricane and then some may be unavailable for a period of time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They don't have a big change in seasons so no!.
They do cook with local in season produce for the most part!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
