Authentic and traditional sounds like white bread and butter, wake me up when it's over!. I think stuffed peppers and my minds eye looks down at a plate with a green orb stuffed solid with rice and meat or a combo of such and I'd like to change the look and still stick with traditional and authentic ingredients, no recipe just the concept, close your eyes and imagine this on the plate:
One glorious Bell Pepper with Falafel balls (quick fried) placed inside along with cubed Halloumi cheese (mozzarella) and sliced or chopped mushrooms!. This combo has been baked for about 25 mins!. to soften the peppers and allowed the cheese to melt, here's the fun part, do we top these when plated with a rustic garlic tomato sauce or a tahini, either way would work, to the right we see grilled eggplant with just a little salt, pepper and olive oil, next to that a crisp clean rough chopped cucumber tomato and mint vinaigrette salad!. Are we awake now!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
