What's the difference between calzone and stromboli?!

Question: What's the difference between calzone and stromboli!?
Answers:
I think the Calzone is a circle of dough ,filling placed on half and dough folded over!. You end up with a half moon shape!. One layer of filling between dough!.
Stromboli the dough is rolled out and the filling placed on dough and the dough is rolled!. You end up with a log shape!.Cut open and you end up with layers of dough and filling!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Calzones are usually smaller!. Sauce is served on the side for dipping!. Ricotta cheese is in a calzone, but not in a stromboli!. Either calzones or strombolis can have meats and veggies!. Strombolis are best thought of as folded over pizzas, with all the gooey goodness baked inside the crust!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No difference, really, except the name--you can use the same ingredients in both, except one is rolled--the other is usually folded and crimped w/a fork to seal edges!. I top both with shredded lettuce and cheese & micro to make a melt (I like wilt lettuce)Www@FoodAQ@Com
