Answers:
If its for class I would suggest something that keeps better and transports more easily than udon (moving soup!?)or tempura (gets droopy), I would look into bento recipes!. Bento are traditional box lunches, so most bento food are easy to move, quick(ish) to make and keep pretty well!.
My favorite stand by is onigiri, which is a sticky rice ball with a filling like ume boshi or smoked salmon or avocado or somethin!. make sure you wet ur hands with some salt water when ur making them though, cuz the rice is super sticky!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

this seems easy!.!.

theres also more on that site if you want to look!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Udon you boil Pork and add some soy sauce for color, onions, if you can buy some fish cakes and cut it up and add that

Then boil some thick rice noodles

Then combine them and eat

if you are not in the mood for that you can do
raw tuna and rice if you like that kind of stuffWww@FoodAQ@Com

Tempura is my favorite!.
You can get a mix at the store or make your own and then coat veggies (carrot slices, green beans, summer squash, zucchini, onions and peppers, etc) and deep fry!. That's it - very easy and fast!

here is the recipe for the batter:
1 egg
1 c!. ice water
1 c!. all purpose flour
Beat an egg in a bowl!. Add ice water in the bowl!. Be sure to use very cold water!. Add sifted flour in the bowl and mix lightly!. Be careful not to overmix the batter!.

heat the oil to 350F
lightly dip veggie pieces in the batter then put them in the oil right away!. when done (they will be a nice golden color and crispy), drain on a paper towel!.

*onions, peppers and carrots are the best, IMOWww@FoodAQ@Com

Chicken Adobo:

All you need is

- chicken breasts (either with the bone in or boneless-skinless and chopped up)
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 head of garlic

Chop the garlic up into little pieces and throw it in in a pot with the chicken!. Brown the chicken with the garlic!. Then add the soy sauce, vinegar, and water into the pot with the chicken and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally!. Make some white rice (if you buy a bag of it, it will have the directions on the back)!. Then serve the chicken and sauce over the white rice!. Delicious! I'm white, but my family loves this Japanese dish because it is so good and it's ridiculously easy!. Good luck with your assignment!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cucumber Sunomono:

INGREDIENTS
2 large cucumbers, peeled
1 small carrot, shredded
1/3 cup rice vinegar
4 teaspoons white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root

DIRECTIONS
Cut cucumbers in half lengthwise and scoop out any large seeds!. Slice crosswise into very thin slices!.
In a small bowl combine vinegar, sugar, salt and ginger!. Mix well!. Place cucumbers and shredded carrots inside of the bowl, stir so that cucumbers are coated with the mixture!. Refrigerate the bowl of cucumbers for at least 1 hour before serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Be a smart#$^ and bring in some raw tuna-shrimp-salmon or whatever is good , the butcher will gladly slice off little pieces for you + it won't cost hardly anything, serve it on rice!.
Google sushi or sashimi , the instructions are very easy !. Chances are no one else will bring that to classWww@FoodAQ@Com

Try Chicken or Pork Katsu!.

It's pretty much breaded meat using Panko instead of breadcrumbs!.
