How do you prepare Udon noodles?!
I have a recipe I really like, it involves Udon noodles, but the only kind I can find have no english on the packaging and it seems like they come out so salty every time, I've tried rinsing them afterwards but there's still a lot of salt afterwards!. If that's just how they come is there any replacement I could use that has less salt!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Udon noodles come in two forms of packaging!. Dry like pasta and "Instant" pre-cooked with soup base!. I am not sure which one so I will give you both answers!.

maybe theres too much msg and salt is in the soup base!. i prepare my udon noodles this way:
first, while waiting for the water to boil, i always pour cold water in a separate cup and mix the soup base with the cold water!. then while putting the udon noodles in the pot of boiling water, i pour the cup of cold water (that has the soup base mixed in) and make sure that some of the msg and salt are still in the cup!. then i wait a few minutes, and it's ready 2 eat! good luck on preparing the udon noodles!Www@FoodAQ@Com
