I see Mexicans in Walmart, a lot of them, and they all had bagged rice in the cart!. You people need to get over yourself, nothing wrong with being frugal in a country that has greedy industries, that are designed to rip you off!. Mexicans do love rice, and nothing wrong with that!. The rice thing is similar to the toilet paper thing, when people went out and cleaned the shelves, when it was mentioned of a shortage on the Johnny Carson show, Mr!. Whipple did well that week!. funny how 2 stores get named for limiting how much rice a person can buy per visit + all of a sudden there is a " rice shortage " here in America !.
Thing is the limit is 4 - 20lb bags per visit !
who in the world would buy 80 pounds of rice , then walk back in and buy 80 more !
Those stores obviously got a good deal on this rice + are causing a panic while raking in the profits !.

The shortage is not on Mexican Rice, it's Basmati Rice - which is Indian Cuisine!. I use Basmati rice all the time and I'm not even Indian!.
