How do Germans make potato leek soup?!
I want to know how Germans make potato leek soup!. I went to Disney World back in September and we went to Epcot!. We ate at Germany and I had this potato leek soup and it was so good, that I kept on getting more!. I want to know how I can make it here at home!. What is the recipe!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Combine onion, leek, carrots, cabbage, parsley, broth, and potatoes to Crock-Pot
t!. Stir in seasonings!. cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours or High 4 to 5 hours
rs!. Remove bay leaf!. Using a slotted spoon remove potatoes and mash!. Combine
potatoes with sour cream!. Return to Crock-Pot and stir!. Stir in bacon pieces

1 pound bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
3 leeks, sliced
1 cup heavy cream
DIRECTIONS
In a large saucepan or stockpot, bring potatoes and chicken broth to a boil!. Cook until potatoes are tender!.
Meanwhile, place bacon in a large, deep skillet!. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown!. Drain, reserving 3 tablespoons of grease and set aside!.
Sautee the leeks in the frying pan with the reserved bacon grease 8 to 10 minutes!.
When the potatoes are tender, stir in the fried leeks, heavy cream and bacon!. Stir to blend and remove from heat!. Serve hot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
