I think that's very thoughtful of you & like somebody else wrote I would ask his parents, they would feel that you are truly considerate of their beliefs & trust their son with you!. I would use fresh vegetable oil just in case pork or meat was used before!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there is little difference between Kosher and halal!.

halal chips!? Halal Homemade Potato chips!? halal means lawful and/or blessed by Allah!. Use clean veggie oil and fry fresh bought potatoes!. try to avoid buying meats from regular markets!.try to go to a halal marketWww@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetable oil!. Sunflower oil!. Wouldn't recommend Olive Oil as it doesn't reach high enough temperatures for deep frying and will smoke a lot!

Anything vegetable oil related! Don't use lard (it's disgusting anyway) and don't use old oil that you may have used to cook pork or pork products in!. Other than that you'll be fine!Www@FoodAQ@Com
