I was eating at a Hawaiian restaurant and I noticed that it had the same word that the Japanese used which was "katsu" which means explosion!. How are the Japanese and Hawaiians linked!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Katsu is actually a short form for the word tonkatsu - which is usually pork cutlet breaded with Panko and fried and then served with a sauce which is sort of like HP or A1!. I make chicken katsu all the time - the kids love it!.
