What are some French-Canadian foods?!


Question: What are some French-Canadian foods!?
Answers:
I am a former chef and worked in Quebec years ago and I like the peasant style foods like Pork Hocks and Meatballs, Creatin a pork like meatloaf/pate, Tarte ua Sucre ( I just answered a question like this), Ramps and Potatoes, Rappee Pie (which is more east coast acadian), and wash it all down with a nice glass of Caribou ( wine mulled with spices and spiked with brandy or eau de vie), one of my favs when working in Montreal was to go on the way home to a LaFluer Hot Dog store order 3 cheins chaud Michigam style, a medium poutine with chili sauce and a large root beer, did not sleep those nights much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lamb Stew
Meat Pies are definately up there!
Cheese Covered Fries (they call it Fries and Cheese curds or something)
Cabbage Salad
Pork and Beans
