According to me an ideal universal breakfast is Bread butter some fruit jam and boiled/fried eggs and yeah break fast is incomplete without tea!.lol!

In Hyderabad we make Kitchri(yellow rice with dal) with keema or khageena(egg salan), thil ki chutney (sesame and peanut chutney) and kata(imli water with raw onions and fried zeera, hara masala) with pappad!. This is the usual Sunday breakfast in Hyderabad!.!.!.if you are vegetarian then I guess you would just omit the keema and khageena salan :)
