Anyone here ever eaten blood sausage?!
I was thinking about trying it!. What's it taste like!? Where would I get it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Yes and depending how it's made it can taste very good!.
Try it cold on some rye with mustard or hot with fried potatoes and an egg (over easy) on top!. It has somewhat of a smooth taste to it and there's the soft variety and the hard (like salami) variety which I prefer!. Overall it's not bad , but it's not something I would put on my regular grocery list!. They sell them in some commisary's on miltary posts, in the German section!.
Thought I'd ad you a link here to show the difference and show you a place to order the sausage!. (You will see it called Blutwurst---it's german for blood sausage)
First one----hard
