Is summer sausage cooked?!

It is smoked which means it is cooked!. Smoking it is a form of cooking!. Think of smoked salmon!.!.!.!.it isn't cooked but the smoking cooks it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You do not have to cook this sausage,you may eat it as it is,but once opened,it should be refrigerated!. My brother likes all meat served warm so I have put this in the microwave just to heat it slightly!.Enjoy!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
