Real chinese food is so much better!. The american chinese food is good but only if you at the moment want something that clings to your stomach and is super saucy and such!. Those eggrolls and dumplings at takeout places are just gross!. Real Chinese food hands down!. And it's not exotic!. We use beef, chicken and seafood, etc!.
Dim Sum is awesomeee!. You can't beat that with take out food!. Dim sum includes more out of the ordinary parts, but it's so good because the flavor is so good!. Maybe it's just the veggies that everyone isn't too familiar with!. But that's like with any kind of cuisine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there are literally thousands of different chinese dishes, only a few made popular here in the united states!. i don't know how dishes like egg drop soup, eggroll, sesame chicken, broccoli beef (btw, we don't use the kind of broccoli) made famous here, that's not all chinese food about!.
and please, not all authentic asian food "exotic" so much so that you should be afraid or worry to try them!.
for my 22 years living in the states, i would not go to an americanized chinese restaurant if i have other choices, only because the dishes were altered so much to meet the american taste buds, it no longer consider chinese food to me!.

By far, authentic Chinese food is better and I prefer the no MSG added home cooking!. We comprehend fresh ingredients so well by quick stir frying with ginger / garlic / salt / soy sauce !.!.!. or other seasoning or steaming !.!.!. to get varieties of flavors and textures!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
