No, it's not actually tastier!. But there is a pyschological element here- he knows what your cooking tastes like (your style, etc!.!.!.)!. When he's eating the dish that your friend (or anyone else) has cooked, the fact that it has been cooked by a different person is going around in his head (if you know what I mean!)!. So don't worry- it's all in his head!
