Depends on what you are gonna do with it!.!.!.!.Ichigo Daifuku!?

Sticky rice: Do you have Mochi!? Use it!. boil it, make it soft and use it!.!.
You could try normal short grain rice (used in Japanese food), try to mash and mix "glue" made of potato starch and hot water!. Not too much, just to give you sticky consistence!.

Anko: go and buy canned boiled beans (just natural, no tomato sause or so), mash and mix it with suger, preferably under some heat, til smooth!. If there is Azuki-beans, just perfect, but otherwise, take brown coloured beans!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

For the sticky rice, any short grained rice is fine, anko is somehting that does not have a good substitiute, plum jam or apple butter is the only thing I can think of, I worked in Japan and had them frequently!.

With the short grained rice, do not rinse it, but now there are brand in the supermarkets, now if it is not available the short grain Italian style rice that they use for risotto!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
