Question: What is sky juice and festival!? They sell it at my local jerk chicken place!.!?
Answers:
I am a former chef and I worked at a resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica back in the 1980's, and Sky Juice is as the second lady said, in Jamaica it is made with fresh coconut water and various alcohols, served in a coconut shell, festival is as said a fried dough like item (usually tied into a knot shape), served at breakfast or at lunch with curry, oxtails or if at breakfast with the national dish of Jamaica, Ackee and Saltfish, like Johnnycake it is a side with alot of meals, some children will take it as a snack to school in the lunch pails!.

I make it on occasion, here in Canada, and as I live in a city were there is a large West Indian community, I can make it from scratch or buy a mix, either way it is delicous, I have it when I go to my favorite Jamaican restaurant at breakfast or lunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The Sky Juice recipe that you are looking for will depend on wher in the
Bahamas you enjoyed it!.

When I lived in Cable Beach, Sky Juice was a mixture of coconut water and gin,
usually served in the fresh coconut: equal parts coconut water and gin!. Pretty
simple!.

Nowadays the drink has evolved to have more tourist appeal!.

Goldie's in Arawak Cay serves a Sky Juice similar to the above recipe (nothing
better with crack conch), but if you had one from one of the places on Bay, it
probably had coconut flavored rum (something like 1 part rum, 1 part gin and 2
parts coconut water OR coconut cream), or it may have a bit of condensed
sweetened milk added for the creamy rich texture!. Don't be off-put by the
condensed milk; if you like Bailey's, you'll enjoy Sky Juice that way!.

Cheers!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Festival is a little deepfried sort of doughnut thing!. No idea about sky juice!Www@FoodAQ@Com
