Fried bananas at chinese restaurants?!


Question: Fried bananas at chinese restaurants!?
I have been to some of these chinese buffets that make fried bananas!.!.!. I'm dying to know how to make them!. They don't have cinnamon and they're not very crispy!. Does anyone by any chance know how these are made!?!? I'm pregnant and my cravings are yelling at me!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make batter with flour, milk, a bit of salt, and some sugar!.!.

Cut the banana the size you want it, and put it in the batter!.!. Then deep fry it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

3 firm green tipped bananas
4 eggs, separated
1/4 c!. flour
1/2 tsp!. salt
Oil for frying

Peel and split the bananas lengthwise!. Cut each in half!. Dip in lemon juice!. For batter, beat egg yolks until thick and light!. Add flour and salt!. Beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry and fold into yolks!. Drop the drained banana pieces into the batter one at a time!. Pick up with a spoon and slice into a large frying pan container in about 1 inch of hot oil!. Cook over medium heat, turning almost at once!. Cook until brown on both sides!. Drain on paper towels!. 6 servings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I never heard of this before you wrote and was surprised to find that there are Chinese fried bananas I don't think I've ever noticed them - or it's not served in SF Bay Area buffets!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
