Brazilian food and Peruvian food? Can you tell me about them?!
I'm going out to eat with my boss and some colleagues, and they've allowed me to choose whether I want to eat Brazilian food or Peruvian food!. I've never had either, but I tend to like most ethnic foods!. Can you describe what each is like and tell me which one you think I should pick!? Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've not had Peruvian!. As for Brazilian I've been to a few different Brazilian grill restaurants and one traditional Brazilian restaurant!. The grill/bbq places tend to have a large buffet of salads and side dishes and then waiters bring around skewers of assorted grilled meats!. This I love!. Very rich flavors of beef, chicken, turkey, sausage, ham, etc!. Some things are a bit odd like chicken hearts, but the beef are usually very rich and flavorful!. If you are not a carnivore, do not attempt this!. The salads are actually fairly benign by American standards nothing really scary but quite tasty!. They have a rich black bean stew that I love (had this at the traditional restaurant too) that has chunks of meat in it!. Rice, and some other neat things!. And some interesting cold fruit drinks!. I really do like the Brazilian I've had so I'd suggest that!. Go with an appetite! But I'd love to try Peruvian some time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I had a Peruvian nanny and what she made for me was mostly beef style stews!. Nothing was really spicy, just flavorful!. They all came with rice and Ajillo ( a pureed garlic paste!.!.!.quite yummy)!. All the food was simple, wholesome, and delicious!. Either way, Brazilian or Peruvian, I don't think you can go wrong!. Both cultures are rich with culinary diversity, and none of the food is too spicy, weird, or something you wouldn't like!. Go for it! If you are lucky, you will be able to try both!. I love Peruvian food, and would love the opportunity to try Brazilian food!. Both cultures are rich and diverse with exotic and delicious palettes!Www@FoodAQ@Com

brazilian restaurants are famous for their meats cooked over fire, like rotiserie style!. (not bbq) delicious for the assortment of meats they cook!. usually the restaurants are all you can eat, so go with an appetite and skip the salad bar!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
