What is the plural of 'haricot vert'..how is it pronounced?!
please only the french and/or the culinarily capable should answer this!.!.!.!.i don't care if you went to c!.i!.a!. or johnson and wales -- that doesn't mean you can spell!.!.!.i've known way too many chefs with culinary training who can't spell/pronounce their way out of a wet paper bag (ever seen emeril legasse!?)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's written haricots verts, but pronounced exactly the same!.
Watch out if you're saying les haricots verts or des haricots verts you can NOT pronounce the s liason in between s_haricots!.!. I hope this is clear, if you can speak french you probably clearly get me, otherwise you must be confused, lol!.
What i mean is you can't say somethine sounding like lez_harico!.!.!.do you get me!? Don't pronounce the s as you would if the next word started with a vowel sound, because it's a h (consonent) (there's two ways of pronouncing h's in french!.!.!.!.but that's a lesson for another day, and i don't think i'd be able to write it, i'd have to be face to face)
