How do I cook rice like the Dominicans?!
I don't quite know how it's done but Dominican rice is cooked much better than any other way I know!. My ex-girlfriend use to use a plastic bag somehow with a heavy pot in cooking it but I like to be able to make it as good without the plastic!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm Dominican! Please do not use Uncle Ben's that stuff is horrible!. Use Carolina, Canilla, or Goya brand rice!. They all come in Long Grain or Medium Grain!. I prefer medium but that is entirely up to you!. Go to the website it will tell you the best way to make it!. HOPE IT HELPS!!!!!!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Over cook it slightly till you get a slight stodgy effect, then leave it to cool for 10 Mins or so, that always works for me!.
I also recommend you buy Uncle Ben's boil in the bag rice, it's yummy!
