What are some things that go well with bruschetta?!
We have a cafe and are wondering what it would go well with for a meal!. We would like it to be a full meal, not just an appetizer!. Throw anything out there, because we're open to any ideas and can really do anything!.
For anyone who doesn't know what bruschetta is, it is a toasted bagel with a garlic and olive oil sauce and ours has herbs and tomatoes!.
And it's SOOO good!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best fresh tomatoes, buffalo mozarello and fresh basil - yummeeee! Seared tuna, mixed peppers, rocket and salad leaves with a balsamic vinegar/olive oil dressing!. Prosciutto, really thin slices of mango, crunchy lettuce, honey and wholegrain mustard dressing & black pepper!. Smoked cheese, red cheese (Red Leicester if you can get it), cream cheese, chopped spring onions (scallions), mayo, paprika, mixed together garnished with chives and parsley served with green salad!. These all goes well with mixed green/red beans (french/runner/broad beans with borlotti/kidney/navy etc, you choose the mix) served hot in a spicy tomato sauce!.
Good luck and have fun!
Now I'm hungry - lol!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bruschetta IS an apetizer, you cannot transform it into a full meal!. also, it isn't made with a bagel but with Italian bread (often the one called "filoncino")!.
Serve bruschetta as apetizer and then a simple pasta to follow and maybe a salad (we Italians don't eat salad at the beginning of a meal like here in the US)!.
If you don't want to offer pasta on your menu, just offer a wide selection of bruschetta, with different toppings so people can fill themselves up on those!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The above is correct that Bruschetta is not made on a bagel!. It's a traditional Italian appetizer - serve it with traditional Italian dishes!. Although, it's not really a side the way salad is!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Bruschetta is not a toasted bagel!. It's sliced, toasted BAGUETTE!. (Italian bread) It has diced tomatoes tossed with fresh basil, oregano, olive oil, and garlic spooned on top!. Serve any italian style entree with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
