Has anyone ever had?!
Has enyone ever eatten Oryx meat!? Apperantly it is some kind of African Goat or Antelope!. A friend of mine had some and shared it!. I am not sure how to prepare it!. Please help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!.!.!.!. and it is not endangered or illegal or anything like that, ignore the environut kittyfreak!.!.!. They are large antelope's but not just from Africa, they can be found in TX, NM, etc!.!.!. pretty much the southwest through the midwest!. Looks like a small horse with long horns, about 3-4 feet!.
Tastes kinda like a cross between venison and boar, a little tough for my tastes but definately not bad!. Had it in sausages once too and it was actually really good!.
On an interesting side note, the Oryx was supposedly one of the primary meat sources for ancient egyptians!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oryx is an African antelope and is endangered!. Since it's already dead you might as well eat it - prepare and cook like venison!. Just don't eat any more - there aren't that many left!.
