Does anybody have a recipe for the PILIPINO style peanuts with slivers of garlic?!
I was at a Pilipino gathering this weekend and they had plenty of good food- as usual!. We were drinking some beer and they brought out the peanuts with thin slices of garlic!. It looked like the peanuts and sliced garlic were coated in some oil and sprinkled with salt and roasted in the oven!. This was the perfect compliment to go with the beer!. I loved it so much I wanna try to make it at homeWww@FoodAQ@Com

Filipino Garlic Peanuts: easy & very addictive
2 cups raw peanuts (no skins)
3-4 large garlic cloves, thinly sliced
2 tbsp peanut oil
pinch of paprika, optional
pinch of salt & pepper
For each cup of raw peanuts, start with a small amount of garlic, to taste!. You can add as much or as little as you like!. Combine all of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl, spread out on a cookie sheet and bake in a 300 deg F oven until just heated & aromatic (maybe 5-6 minutes)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
