Answers:
German food is wonderful and it all depends upon what you like as to what you should order!. I like sauerbraten with red cabbage, spaeztle and gravy and spiced apples!. Sauerbraten is roast beef in a sour cream sauce/gravy!.

Wurst means it is a type of sausage; hassenphfeffer is rabbit; kartoffels <sp!?> are potatoes, rot means red!.!.!.

If you have any questions as to what a food is, always feel free to ask your server/waiter/waitress - they will be more than happy to answer all your questions!.

And don't forget to have a nice German Lager to wash your dinner down with!.

EDIT: I have always found that the food in German restaurants to be reasonably priced!.

I'm sure many people would disagree with me but everybody has different tastes!. German food isn't about refinement, its more of a comfort food!. I suppose you could try their different kinds of sausages (Wurst), maybe they have Wiener Schnitzel which is breaded veal (more from Austria though)!. German cuisine is influenced also by its neighbouring countries!. Oh and of course their lager is good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

German food is great!. It is hearty & flavorful!. Here are some suggestions:
-Bratwrust (German style sausages),
-Potato dumplings !.!.!.I can't remember their names but they are large and round!.
-Spaetzle-Little dumplings boiled and served with butter!.

Just open your mind and be prepared to try a little of everything!. You might be surprised and enjoy it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
