I couldn't find any sauce made exclusively from purple onions and lemon juice, but I found a preserve of purple onions, lime juice and tomatoes!.!.!.or pickled tomatoes and purple onions (whichever, it's the same)!.
I also found that they use purple onions and lime juice in ceviche, but ceviche isn't a sauce either!.
