you probably only know tacos,burritos,quesadillas, carne asada,fajitas, that's not even the surface of the real mexican food!.
try asking for "pozole,birria,barbacoa de borrego,machaca, caldo de res,pollo azado,pechugas rellenas,chiles rellenos,albondigas,pollo en mole,pipian de pollo,pescado sarandeado,caldo 7 mares,huachinango a la veracruzana,camarones al aguachile,camarones a la diabla,cazuelitas de mariscos,etc!. I know like a houndred more mexican dishes that only mexicans know all this are real mexican food !. the ones you know are just for american consumer or fast food kind!. just google any of the ones i wrote and you'll find out!.
i recomend you "birria de chivo" or "pescado sarandeado"

to make your opinion more thorough maybe you should visit mexico and enjoy the variety of flavours they have to offer

Aha!!! You are oh so wrong!. There is a difference in the spices that they add!. The way I make my Mole is different from the way some one in California would make!. Although the name of the meal itself is the same the flavor is not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Thats what we all say about our own ethnic foods!. Or maybe it's because you live in the states and you're bombarded with tex-mex!. You'll get more variety out of more traditional mexican foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
