Answers:
I am a former chef and if made properly the middle has a jam surprise inside, and it is or was a traditional dessert pudding in the early 20th century, now it comes in frozen servings and in tin from Heinz, just like sticky toffee pudding and christmas pudding, not the most palatable but o!.k in a pinch, served with custard sauce or lightly whipped unsweetened cream!.

Just a simple dough with suet the fat from around the kidneys in beef cattle, but in the UK, most use the veggie version of it, less calories and cholesterol and not as heavy, wrapped in a muslin or pudding cloth/bag, and streamed served warm with the sauces, not hard to make but fiddley more than difficult, I have made it here in Canada, and our eastern coast in Newfoundland a similar pudding for a boiled (Jiggs) meat dinner is called "Figgy Duff"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it was in harry potter once haha
its like a steamed suet pudding with dried fruit and its good with custard and ice creams
the fruit in it makes it look spotty
but i REALLY dont know why its a dick!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
