As a chef in Singapore I used yak milk and we had 2 yak cheeses on the cheese board from Tibet!.
It is a lot like goats milk, a bit of a different taste, some say "furry" or a bit gamey, I liked it, not something I would use in my tea, and yak butter is put in there ceremonial tea, I have had that here in Toronto Canada at the 3 Tibetan places I go to in town, the food is great too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
