it's some kind of fermentd soy bean dish and comes in a styrofoam container with mustard and soy sauce
my sister loves it, actually my whole family does except my dad and me

You going to be surprised but I actually love it, cannot get enough, got turned on to it when I worked in Japan as a sous chef for a major hotel chain, had it practically every morning, I used to skip the raw eggs, but like it with soya sauce, 7 pepper spice and a bit of wasabi, a great wake up early in the day!.
I still buy it here in Toronto Canada, it comes frozen here, and I recently tried it with raw onions, kewpie mayo and mashed potatoes like a funky Japanese potato salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm afraid that natto is something that I'm not too keen on!. Someday when I go back to Japan, I will give it another try, but the numerous times that I did during my year abroad, the consistency rather than the fermented flavour is what turned me off!. Kind of like konyaku, the consistency just turned me off!.
