What's the name of the sauce that comes with steamed wontons?!


Question: What's the name of the sauce that comes with steamed wontons!?
It looks like soy sauce, but tastes different (a bit sweeter)!.

Tempera sauce (probably) and yes you can buy it about anywhere!.

1/4 c!. sherry or sake
1/4 c!. soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar

Just heat in a pan to dissolve the sugar and serve!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
sounds like it may be tempura sauce, it's a bit lighter in color than dark soy sauce but it does have a sweeter taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
