I friend of mine was talking about a corn cocktail or coctel elote!. Said it had corn, cheese chili, and some kind of sauce!.

yes very very good "esquites" or "vasito de elote" is corn,shredded cheese,powder pepper,salt, lemon and more hot sauce if you want!.
usually sells outside mexican markets all over U!.S!. you can make this with canned corn it works really good!.
