What is your favorite way to fry squash blossoms?!

Question: What is your favorite way to fry squash blossoms!?
I just had a bunch for lunch while I'm waiting for the watermellon to chill!. I like to pick th blossoms in the morning when they have opened, dip them in egg white mixed with a little milk and then coat them with a mixture of equal parts bread crumbs and wheat germ to twice as much flour, seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic powder!. Then I fry them in a pan in hot corn oil!.

On occasion I pick the unopened flowers, dip them in beer batter and deep-fry, but I don't like those as well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a former chef and have done it the way you do them myself, and stuffed them with a mushroom duxelle or veal foremeat, just trim out the stamins and stigmas first they can be bitter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can stuff them with an herb and goat cheese mixture as well!. Squash blossoms are always a treat!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Both recipes sound scrumptous!. I'd add a little cayenne pepper to the first recipe, but that's just me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yum!Www@FoodAQ@Com
